I use a VISA card to make five $200 deposits from a VISA card into my regular Serve card every month. I then deposit the $1,000 once a month to bill pay my Amex credit card.

After the first few $200 payments, Serve gets shut down. You have to call in to Serve and "authorize" the card to make the deposits from. But once the Serve rep verifies you actually own the VISA card, then everything works fine.

Serve deposits take about three days to show as credited to the account receiving the money.

Once set up, this is painless way online at home to generate $1,000 a month in MS from a VISA credit card, and (in my case) BP'ing to an Amex card.

Using Amex to pay into Serve does not work so well because you don't get miles.
