FRA is also excellent as you can take the S-bahn to Mainz, which is a charming small town on the Rhine. 30 min trip with frequent service. There is also a long-haul train station at FRA airport, so you could take a train to Heidelberg or Cologne for example, if Mainz isn't enough. Berlin is fantastic but needs more than overnight to enjoy.
