Well, it is a DCIR26 whereas when I purchase Circle Pacifics they are almost always DCIR22s.

I would normally suspect so, but keep in mind that one reason AA used to consistently be less expensive as the ticketing carrier is that they did not charge fuel fees for airlines other than AA and BA; as of last year AA now does charge fuel fees for other carriers, so it may be worth asking CX and/or QF to price your ticket.
