Service was good and very fast and the food quality was good. Dinner consisted of a first course of shrimp and salad (along with a regular small salad). The grapes/cheese/crackers were brought with this first course as well long with warm white/brown bread options. There was no menu, simply the main course was trolleyed around and you selected a choice of seafood, chicken or beef. I went with the seafood with rice and more vegetables and it was good. For dessert there were two phases, first a healthy one with a la carte fresh fruit on the trolley (generous portion). A few moments later they came around with the sinful stuff with tea/coffee.

Breakfast was continental style and healthy. Fruit, jar of honey, jar of jam, warm croissants/white bread/whole wheat rolls/whole wheat buns. The usual juices and coffee/tea which they refilled a couple of times along with the bread.

Overall a good experience with friendly/smiling flight attendants. ^
It seems to be very much a tale of two airlines!

My parents flew BKK-CAI and experienced almost exactly what you describe above. With an outstanding crew.

They rang me from CAI saying they were going to fly MS from now on whenever possible.

'Wait till the return' I said.

And sure enough, they changed their minds

Although they said the seat/bed alone, provided you can stick with 777s, is worth it for the price paid. They slept well.
