That's one side of the story. This traveller probably gambled that he/she could get away without paying at the airport by claiming the web site not working and lost. I wonder why he/she has not contacted Air Asia's Contact Centre, use Live Chat available at their web site or at least submit an e-form with a call back contact.
Air Asia is a discount airline and usually attracts those who want the "cheapest" air fare. Air Asia would be one of the last airlines on list to fly.
