Something strange happened today when I went to load my Serve card with OV's. The WM I visited did not have kiosk. After the customer service clerk swiped my Serve card & entered $500, when I swiped my OV: nothing happened... I wasn't prompted to enter a PIN. On the customer service register screen, it said something about "alternate tender."
The customer service clerk called over the supervisors and managers. They were aware I was loading a gift card..and it seemed that they've been having issues all day.
I then asked them to try something else ... I asked them to reload my Serve with a "real" bank debit card. This time, I was prompted with the debit option, and on the keypad, I was prompted to enter my PIN. Of course, I asked them to void this.
I then tried to ask for a MO. But I was declined (see the other
thread).
I drove to another WM that had a kiosk. I was able to load the OV's without issues.
