Yeah, what I meant to say and I didn't finish the thought is that checking your bag might be easier. I really hate doing shuttle busses with carry on luggage.
Now, I do need to ask - are these flights on the same ticket? I did notice the LGA-PHL route is often delayed. If each segment is separately ticketed, that's a problem if you miss that connection.
