From my point of view those are cities that generally attract and embrace what I'd describe as older, larger, not exactly up-to-date on fashion gay men. I'm not knocking those (often comfortable) men, just observing that I'd say those cities are 2 places with much less emphasis on appearance than say West Hollywood, NYC/Chelsea/HK, Miami, Seattle, Barcelona, Paris, etc. etc. etc.
PSP and FLL are loaded with "daddies", so they are in high demand and these men can be rather rude.
WeHo is another story, I remember a joke that the city of WeHo sends out a letter to men who will turn 35 and informs them they should move to Silverlake...
