Domestic flights (Cairo-Aswan)... Landing in Cairo for a couple of days, then need to go south for a Nile cruise from Aswan.

How reliable is the service from Cairo to Aswan? Meaning, is it delayed often enough and long enough that I should go the night before, or will an 8am flight (schedule to land at 9:30am) be reliable enough for me to make my noon boat? (Alternative question: is it worth going the night before and wandering around Aswan a bit that night and in the morning before the cruise boards?)

How are they with carry-on weight/size limits? We fly with small carry-on bags, but the weight could get over 8kg given a two week trip.

Any reason to book business class RJ (price is not much more than economy)?

If I book coach, does MS do any priority boarding for Star Alliance Gold?
