Certainly not on the MUC sectors. It's (usually) a B737 with a dedicated 2-2 business-class cabin. Comfortable enough.
I have flown the B737 in business class recently (GVA-CAI) and was fairly impressed. The seats were MUCH better than on Lufthansa's service on an A320 from CAI yesterday (which uses the basic intra-European configuration). Again, unlike on LH, they had PTV with a limited, but acceptable selection of movies and the service was very attentive. From CAI to YYZ, the seats are lie-flat.

Can't help. But regular meals are good quality, generous with healthy salads. It's a large international airline so I imagine they are used to catering for vegetarians.
Don't expect too much. Out of MUC, the catering should be quite ok, but I find the MS catering from CAI fairly bad, even in business class. But then again, it is a night flight, so I assume food won't be the main consideration here.

May be hard to believe, but some passengers choose the airline because it is an alcohol-free environment. Alcohol isn't banned in Egypt, but the airline policy is to promote itself as a dry carrier. It's not a petty rule to be circumvented. Consuming alcohol may be offensive to your neighbour. If you really can't survive the flight without a drink, you might carry a miniature (think hotel mini-bar) to top up your coke discreetly.
I agree with IAN-UK here, drinking alcohol in plain view is really not a great idea of Egyptair. Consuming alcohol bought in a duty free shop on-board is prohibited on Egyptair (and in fact on all other airlines), and while the crew probably won't give you any trouble, if you are discrete about it, I think that quite a few passengers might feel offended.. Have a drink at the bar in CAI, if you must, but don't bring alcohol on the plane. Just my 2 cents..
