Manila is very low on my list of airports within which to ever try a transfer.

It is a poor enough airport just as a departure point or ultimate destination; I can hardly imagine trying to do a connection there.

Bureaucratic nonsense abounds, security is ineffective but time-consuming, there are no terminal transfers, etc. etc.
