Watching ESPN3 is impossible for Canadians living in Canada, and a pain for visiting Americans. Since it's not available on TV at all, there are none of those sketcky online feeds you can usually find for regular TV channels. You need an American cable provider AND a US IP address. As a Canadian, the only way I can watch is by borrowing a generous American friend's cable log-in info and by downloading a US VPN. I use TunnelBear (not sure if it's a VPN or something else, but it works!), which is super reliable and ridiculously easy to use. This system is awful : even an American in the US needs a cable subscription with a company that's recognized by ESPN in order to access the stream. Annoying when it's a major competition, like in NCAA gymnastics where the one and only meet they broadcast is Nationals, thus making the most important meet of the year unavailable for a good portion of the fans
