I'm sorry if this has already been covered on this forum. I am rather confused by the fact that a couple of weeks ago it was thought that the signals from the black box were being picked up and it was stated that theses signals could not have been from anything else. I also understand that the signal from the BB could only travel about 3km. Now we are told that "it is back to square one". If the signals were being picked up surely the plane is within 3km of where the ship was that picked up the signal and it should be "nearby". Have I missed the news item saying these were not the signals from the BB?
