It's a good place to planespot JFK arrivals or departures. It's located in Brooklyns own Gateway National Park. http://www.nps.gov/gate/index.htm

Not only did I author a portion of that article posted on Wikipedia; but I also used to go fishing off of Canarsie Pier, as I lived only a few blocks from there.

In fact, the house where I lived is within that map at the official Internet web site of Canarsie Pier.

One day, I will conduct a Canarsie Reality Tour...
