Do you have any status with Air Canada? The AeroPlat card gives you lounge access and access to priority check-in... both benefits were very useful to me before I obtained status with Air Canada.

If you already have status with Air Canada or even some other *A partner, then I agree with the others -- the regular Plat is a much better card.
