My Gold card MR points go to my Plat account. My card is up to renewal next month so I'm going to phone and cancel ($699 is way too much!) and if they don't offer me a nice retention bonus I will have to cancel. AMEX will know your balance all the way in the backend even if online linkage/display breaks, no worries
