While it is probably a legal connection, book at your own risk. Distances between gates can be quite long. Even being CP I never book that tight of a connection in PHX. And it's worse if your connection is onward to USExpress/Skywest. They really love to close the door at 10 minutes before and depart early. Once, my arriving flight from CLT was late due to a mechanical, I got to the gate 8 minutes before departure and they wouldn't let me on. The kicker was the plane then left 4 minutes early. And don't assume there will be any seats available on the next flight out, either.
