CX generally open up awards closer to flight time. Right up to 24-48 hours before flights, so if you can hold out you may be okay. E.g. checking CX own website now for availability SFO-HKG using Asia miles there are two F seats available tomorrow (Friday) and also every day Sunday thru Friday next week. Just to emphasize my final point.... there are now 2 F award seats open for OneWorld partners on CX 879 for Sunday Apr 27th.... AwardNexus via BA and QF. When I checked last night there was no availability for OneWorld (but there was for Asia miles), now at two days before flight they released them to partners.
Also, 1 F award is open on May 3rd (CX 879) and May 4th (CX 873) for OneWorld partners. There is a good chance this will expand to 2 seats a couple of days before flights.
Nothing yet for May 5th/6th but hang in there and keep checking.
