Austin has very impressive population growth numbers. With the way the population trend is in Austin, you will only see more flight options.

AUS-PHX/DFW/CLT: AA runs near hourly flights to DFW, with US running a few regional jets to PHX and CLT. I can see AUS-DFW frequencies reduced and off-peak flights moved to regional jets, while adding flights on AUS-CLT/PHX or upguaging some frequencies to mainline. Basically spreading Austin passengers throughout PHX, DFW, and CLT depending on which part of the country they are traveling to/from.

AUS-ORD: connecting in ORD seems redundant with connecting opportunities in DFW, and even more so with PHL and CLT now in the network. I can see AUS-ORD focus primarily on O/D traffic which could result in the flights being moved to regional jets if connecting traffic is rerouted through DFW, CLT, and PHL.

AUS-JFK/PHL: Maybe a second AUS-PHL flight will be added. I usually take the AUS-JFK flight when traveling to NYC, I hope the flight stays although I wouldn't be surprised if it is dropped.

AUS-LAX: serves 1) O/D traffic 2) international connections 3) west coast connections. I can see AUS-LAX continuing to handle the first 2 groups with the third group shifting to AUS-PHX. AUS-LAX should remain mainline perhaps with A319 instead of 738 or MD80.

AUS-MIA: would love to see this launched
