By now we should all know that guns + the TSA don't mix and therefore firearms of all kinds are best left at home.
The TSA has both
blogged about and shared
Instagram pictures of the weapons that they have confiscated. The long list has included such questionable items as a
sock puppet's pistol and
photographer's blower.
Earlier this week, a passenger was preparing to go through an airport security check point when she was approached by a TSA agent who had noticed her purse and thought it may be a bit questionable. It wasn't confiscated, but the traveler was asked to keep her purse in her bag so that it wouldn't offend other travelers.
Do you feel that it is a security concern? Is it that offensive? Should it have received any attention from the TSA?
