Thanks. This gives some hope as I bought them about 3:30pm down in Florida. Tried to use them at 6:15pm and that bizarre thing happened at WM. An hour later the other 2 cards failed at grocery store.
May be it is really communication error at the end of Blackhawk than a new development. Will report back.
I buy these cards all the time with CC or AXGC, and 0 fees. I used to buy $500, but now do $400 since no override is required, less scrutiny and no fees anyways. Sometimes they check to make sure the ID matches the purchasing card, so i also get the personalized AXGC. I never register these. Call and set PIN and hang up. Load to BB or MO. I make sure to use them right away since they deduct a fee at the 7 day point.
