Except when they do. On one of my accounts I get the stock "sorry, wait 2 billing statements" (even though my first cc's points posted just fine). On my dad's account they wrote back apologizing and offered to expedite the points over at no charge.
Ridiculous and clueless are understatements!
Did your dad receive the miles? Sometimes they just say stuff to shut you up.
