Finally they’ve “fixed” my AAdvantage number (couple days after my 2nd statement), but when I’ve called to transfer immediately, they’ve said that bonus miles will transfer not sooner than 3rd statement and for $40 they can expedite (4 days) my non-bonus (~10K) miles. The rep was kinda rude too this time.
So I only have 1 or 2 days to cancel to avoid AF (have the second card) is there any way to trigger the miles to be reported to AA immediately? They’re sitting in citi from before even my first statement, just because of the known AA system problem they weren’t able to transfer on time.
