also, if you are about to redeem AA miles, you might want to do that before canceling your AA plat, because it will give you 10% miles rebate up to 10k but AA exec in fact didn't provide this benefits IIRC
Thanks for the heads up. I forgot about the no 10% miles back. I'll keep atleast one of the OGs open then when I do cancel in the future.

I have had the executive since January 31, 2014. No other citi cards

Please read the wiki or even the last few pages. Both of you have reset the 12-20mo clock for personal CitiAA cards. Exception is the Exec and Biz cards I believe.
