You are correct. BUT - ONLY the Flight Delay departure email states "Please be at the gate for boarding prior to the original scheduled departure time of 7:00 p.m., as the departure time could be revised again."

In the actual ticket, it states:
"Boarding Requirement - Passengers must be prepared to board at the departure gate with their boarding pass at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure."

I can argue that the scheduled departure was the new time on the flight status mobile app and as listed on the terminal monitors - because that is the NEW scheduled departure. If I didn't have access to email or phone, all I would do is read the monitors. Should a lay passenger look at the monitor every five minutes? Ten minutes? In this case, the flight took off in about 20 minutes from when she checked her bag in.

The check-in agent NEVER mentioned that the flight might actually be leaving earlier. The agent gave a LATER time than what was on the flight status.
