I will typically check back to the CSR periodically to ensure I will not miss the flight.
I do check in with the agents in the Club and quite often they may even call the gate agents to check the status - thus minimizing my walk time. In Asia, I have found the agents in the lounges to personally go to everyone to check and make sure they don't miss their flights and even remember which flights they are booked on. This doesn't even happen in the Global First lounge at SFO.
