I am always very careful about parking myself at a Club at a hub location (which is usually where the Clubs are) in a situation like this. When I do, it is only if the Club is close to the expected gate, and I monitor the departure time (and gate) constantly and VERY carefully because they frequently change. I am also ready to bolt out of the Club to the gate at a moment's notice.
