I do app consulting plus publish my own, developing for Android sucks, period. The Android version of our app was supposed to be out last month, and guess what, not a chance. Not surprised UA is behind. In an oversimplification, Android was made by computer scientists for computer scientists - without a lot of regard for usability or standardization. The They use "guidelines" and "flexibility" as euphemism for a wild west environment with sloppy usability dressed up in a fancy design.
With my rant over, can we get some reliable wifi here UA?
Let's also remember that the Android ecosystem encompasses hundreds of phones and tablets, all quite different and running many versions of Android, while the iOS side is what, maybe a handful of devices all with known CPU, GPU and video characteristics.
If I was a developer, I would run screaming from a generic Android app gig.
iOS won.
