"You have entered an amount greater than your last statement balance. Please re-enter an amount less than or equal to your statement balance."

Even when I do enter a smaller amount, like $2000 or even $1, it won't let me move forward with the payment. How to resolve this issue? Or do I just have to wait until 4/6 (the next statement close to pay?). I'm so confused.
Are the balance a POSTED balance or still in Pending stage?

1) You can only pay a POSTED outstanding balance.

2) Citi seems to only allow ONE in-cycle payment on first billing cycle.
If you have already used that up, you would need to wait till after 1st statement close before you can do payment from Citi site.

3) The workaround of this, is to do bill pay from any bank account to PUSH the payment to Citi.

Or, if you have Citi branches in your area, just go down to the branch and pay them with either cash or money order. The payment would be posted to your account REAL TIME.
