I'm not aware of any requirement to do that for devices with lithium batteries installed in them, only for spare lithium batteries not installed in a device.

I wouldn't leave the items you list in the checked bag on the grounds of value and the fact that AA excludes cover for 'computers and other electronic equipment' in checked bags, but that has nothing to do with containing a lithium battery ...
