At least AA stepped up it's game on the materials chosen. Delta uses the same seats and it looks like a joke.
Didn't AC or some other such airline do a 1x1x1 angled "herringbone" seat on their long haul 767s? It wasn't nearly as space efficient as I recall but I think that would have been at least a non-angle lie-flat option...
