An excellent airline. I adopted them for internal flights in 2009 and when they came to AMS I tried the business. Superb. A staff and a system that is well-practised, skilled, reassuring and wonderfully polite.
It helps to be a bit familiar with Indonesian elevated customs and values, especially of respect for the guest, just as a knowledge of Dutch directness and Parisian arrogance help one to enjoy, or survive, travel with KLM or AF.
GA are certainly already in my Top 10 carriers of the world, which is not the case for any US carrier.
They are an improvement to the SkyTeam Alliance, for their extensive route network in SE Asia and in one of the largest world economies, and for the quality of their service.
