I moved away from WN when they introduced the revenue based Rapid Rewards. It took the fun out of the game and it is too hard to understand. I said to myself then, and I say it now, is that at least the legacy carriers are not using revenue for redemption. Of course, someone mentioned the tiers for redemption is essentially revenue.
So, it seems maybe the redemption would be sort of like Aeroplan?
Didn't someone (like Crandall?) say that FFPs were a huge mistake the industry made? I guess they are just trying to reverse the mistake.
