On the topic of this thread, I read the latest stories and weep for the sad state of a once-proud airline which has in the past looked after me very well, but which now seems to be being run into the ground by the stubborn foolishness of a man who has no proper understanding of the business as a whole, and the apparent blindness of the board which has not yet sought his removal.

I don't often agree with tub-thumping union rhetoric, but on this occasion I happen to agree that if there are further job losses announced tomorrow morning (as seems certain), the best news for the airline could be the loss of a single job - that of AJ's.
