I had a split itinerary with AA and US Airways. I get my complimentary upgrades on the AA segments, and I have a US Airways account with miles in it. So what I did was had the agent remove the mistake (UA 1K FF#), apply my US Airways FF#, upgrade the US Airways segments from domestic to first with miles, and once complete, then reapplied my AA EXP#.

As I tell my loved one, her petite figure makes every E- seat an F seat, while my stature makes only F seats comfortable.
