One could think call centers are interchangeable and high cost locations like Basel might not be the ideal place for operating a call center, but the added value provided by the excellent and motivated team at Basel to the elite FFP members of LX/LH is just absolutely amazing and unique.

Last Monday I called them for a complicated booking in O class (including SEN companion award for two people) over three continents with four segments each way and an open jaw at the destination. A nightmare? Yes, but not for me, as the very friendly and kind agent took it on her to finalize everything (with many problems regarding the "rules") over 8 days and just calling me this morning to say "all is ticketed as per your request".

The team in Basel could be a reason by itself for flying LX/LH. The agent in question joined the team only in September 2012 and is now already promoted to HON services, so as a lowly SEN I am glad she still cares for me. But anyway just all people I have ever spoken to in Basel bear the same spirit of dedication and excellence.
