There is a Sukhumvit Soi 1. When you get off the highway (which airport taxi would generally get off here if coming from airport to this neighborhood), it's immediately after the railroad tracks. You can go down the soi, cut through the hospital to get to Soi 3/Nana Nua (which is a one way). No one really would go this way unless they want to cut across Soi 3 to get to Soi 11 (which I tend to do if there's traffic backup) and the interconnecting soi's in that neighborhood.
