How did I not recognize that the most recent award fee changes actually had a positive side. Changing carriers for 2P and above is now free. Used to be a fee.
^ In this particular case, the reprice is only an extra 2,500 miles. As long as I can avoid a redeposit fee ($100), I don't mind giving up the extra miles.
