Well this sectors that I had now, it is a legal connection. It comes as that pair from CX. even if you do dummy booking you will probably only get this set of flight. Unless you want to pay B fares and above.

I still have a wait list on CX690 but seems hard to get clear since I am only a lowly SL. My TA advise me, once I ticketed on SINxBKK-HKG-SIN, if my wait list got confirmed and I want to take it, rerouting rule will kick in hence re-issuance is needed and I need to pay SGD150 + my agent fee.

CX has been extending another day for my ticket issuance to tomorrow. Looks like I probably have to stick with almost 4 hours connection flight and see if I can get any of my Thai friend come to airport and drive me nearby for some thai food early dinner
