Calling all 9W connection experts!
I know that there are multiple threads about this question. But the information is older and 9W keeps freaking changing their baggage policy

I am UA platinum, flying EWR-BOM-CCU and then MAA-BOM-EWR. The BOM-CCU and MAA-BOM flights are on 9W. Others are UA nonstop. The entire roundtrip is on one ticket (United 016 ticket stock). But in my itinerary, the 9W flights don't have UA flight numbers (codeshare).
I suppose that on outbound I can have two checked bags? What about the return flight?
