WOW!
Had a MR booked back in June for this morning from LAS to LGA via IAH.
Something came up (namely my wife complaining), so I cancelled and checked what my penalty was going to be --- $200.00 change fee!
About an hour ago I just happened, for the heck of it, to check if there was perhaps a weather waiver extended for the east coast, and I screwed up by cancelling last night.
What the hey? No weather waiver for the east coast, but whatta-no, bingo weather waiver for IAH (Ice Storms). Plugged in my old itin # and re-booked later in the year for a minimal increase in fare and NO CHANGE FEE.
A savings of $200.00 granted by the "Weather Gods"!!!
Just goes to show, "Ya Never Can Tell"!!!
