I have flown in all of 5K, 6K and 7K. I was initially disappointed to be allocated 7K on one leg, for your stated reasons. However I found that seat totally fine. The BR plane is really quite spacious and 7K is far enough from the rest room for that to be not inconvenient. Certainly the front cabin seems better to me.
