Typically when runway directions are reversed, the weather is so bad you don't see much of anything. The only great view flights are typically ones from/to the northwest, when you fly past SF and then do a U around the Dumbarton Bridge. Typical US westbound flights come pretty much due west over Yosemite, then turn toward the 28s for landing. A narrobody eastbound is likely to take off from the 1s, and then an A window gives you a chance at a view.
