Had one virgin card left (no shutdowns, no spend down, online access, "active"):
1. Loaded $500.
2. Waited 5-10 minutes.
3. Lost online access, kept phone access.
4. Tried to load another $500, error code 43, "this card is INVALID..."
5. CA $498.
Reports here make me think i could have loaded more in the window between 1 and 2, when loads were allowed and I still had online access.
Perhaps in response to all the FDIC complaints they've stopped allowing loads to cards destined for shutdown (which was an incredibly abusive practice).
