but then again, in this age of consumerism and cut throat competition in aviation, the only thing that matters is the bottom line.. if the airlines can get in the green, without getting worried about a loyal customer base, guess they have a clear choice..
their on board service has just gone from bad to worse, they charge an insane amount in taxes when redeeming miles, customer service is a joke & there are many other reasons that i don't want to get into here....
i've gone from about 120 flights a year to about 30 flights last year....i can still easily make plat before my status expires in june this year....i have a bunch of trips before that & if i flew jet on most of them then i would easily cross the tier requirement....but i just don't think its worth it anymore....
