EWR-HNL coach gets two rounds of BoB. I'm not sure which items from the BoB menu are carried. I've heard that they often run out before the second round.
If it were me I would buy food in the terminal. I like the sandwiches and bagel items from Balducci's.
The only thing I worry about is food for the second half of the flight. I try to avoid poisoning myself so I try to buy something that I think will last 6-8 hours. Your alternative is to eat your item on takeoff but buy a Tapas box for later.
