for those wanting an update on events here you can read them over in the Starwood forum which continues to allow posts on what's up here as some travelers to BKK are interested if their future stay will be OK (such as last protest which led to both the Ren & CY being closed, sandbagged and barbed wired) and safe, especially with these 2 properties being w/i a stones throw of Police HQ which has always been a venue of anti-gov't forces...........
