Appreciate the tip, DN.

We're going o/w (returning *A via NRT, looking forward to ANA 787 service) and so the Explorer chart isn't attractive for that distance. I was considering fitting in some QF domestic segments along with an Explorer award but in the end the economics of two one way awards won out.
