Just had a quite nice 3-night stay here. Staff was very friendly. No upgrade as they said they were at high occupancy around X-mas. We enjoyed the small pool and cabanas. I thought the fire pit was an incredibly nice touch. We sat outside one evening and enjoyed a beer and cigar around the fire. A perfect setting for a tropical Hawaiian night. It was Christmas night and the bistro was packed! A lot of families having dinner as nothing else was open.

We spent an afternoon at Kanaha beach park just a 2 min drive back toward the airport.

My only complaint was that they only gave us late check out until 12:30 pm.
