I experienced BA First for the first time last summer, and thankfully it turned out okay. Of course, it wasn't nearly as mind-blowing as the LH F 747-400 seat/bed combo that I had just taken from BKK to FRA, but it wasn't a horrible way to get from LHR to LAX. I didn't love the Concord Room either. Too busy, and it took FOREVER to get a drink. Food was okay, but I stuck with crab cakes and fish. Like Mrs. SFO777, I was missing a self-serve station.....
Thanks very much Paella747. If one hasn't flown BA First, it's probably worth a try if for nothing more than curiosity. One just needs to lower expectations. Even the great airlines' FCLs have self-serve stations in addition to made to order offerings. Not sure what BA's problem is here.

I also appreciate the candid assessment of the various products that I someday hope to try. Because I am limited on time and money, and to a lesser extent miles, I may only have a chance to sample one F cabin every few years. I really like how these TRs help me make an informed decision on where to spend my miles. In fact, I recently booked a LAX-HKG-SYD-MEL-LAX anniversary trip for me and my wife, having been inspired by a previous SFO777 TR, and am looking to take a trip to the Maldives on Etihad from LAX after the service begins.
Thanks so much bhamsan01 for your very kind comments. I'm glad that my reports have inspired you take some of these trips.

I have started writing several trip reports, but never got around to finishing any one of them ........ it's a lot of work, and thank you for the time you put into writing AND sharing them SFO777. I would say to the critics of the trip report: either don't read them if you don't like them, or show me one that you've done, so we all can critique it too.
Thank you very much BigEyedFish. I appreciate it and am happy to hear that you enjoyed Poland.
